For first time in 9 years, coffee consumption is projected to fall, as restaurants and coffeeshops are unable to return to full capacity and indoor dining. Now, coffeeshop owners‘ are changing their business models to spark a rebound’ in consumption at their shops and improve profitability.
Some of the pivots we are seeing in addition to curbside pickup are expansion in to selling home coffee kits, coffeeshop merchandise, creative brews, and branded delivery trucks, cars and even motorcycles.
I believe that our creative coffeeshop owners will keep innovating and preserve our coffee culture!
